Owner/Director, Barker Real Estate
Garry, better known as Gus to most locals, has lived in Gawler his entire life. He grew up on the family dairy farm at Buchfelde on the outskirts of Gawler near the Gawler Harness Racing Club.
Garry and his wife Nicky recently purchased the building at 1 Bridge Street North, now the home to Barker Real Estate. The old character stone building has been extensively renovated but still has some of the original stonework from the old Gawler town plus a new extension. The building is a lot like our Barker Real Estate team with some old stages and some new young guns.
Garry worked in the Telecommunications Civil Construction Industry as a Project Manager for the past thirty-eight years across all states of Australia. He is thrilled to be joining the family Real Estate company and is enjoying working back in the Gawler area fulltime after having spent many years working interstate.
Garry has had a large involvement in the local sporting community both as a player, coach, supporter and administrator.
He likes the local rivalry that he believes is the fabric of the Gawler Community.
He enjoys watching a local football match between two of the Gawler Clubs, and catching up with old team mates, friends, and opponents as this is very much what the Gawler Community is all about.

Brodie Barker is a young and enthusiastic agent. Having worked in the Real Estate industry for four years, Brodie has a sound background spanning from Property Management, Land Sales and Residential Sales.
Brodie is the son of Nicky and Garry, the business owners of Barker Real Estate. He has been with the business since its start up in November 2016.
He has lived in Gawler his whole life and has an in depth understanding of the entire Gawler area and surrounds. Brodie knows the importance of a good relationship with Vendors and Purchasers. He prides himself on complete transparency throughout all of his business engagements.
